Abstract: Mr. Kittipong Sirilaktrakul, Deputy Managing Director of Supalai Public Company Limited, recently emphasized the company's deep understanding of the importance of environmental protection, integrating it as a core strategy for sustainable business operations.

Supalai aims to reduce its business-as-usual (BAU) greenhouse gas emissions by 40% by 2030 through practical measures.

To achieve this goal, Supalai is continuously promoting green housing projects, striving to incorporate eco-friendly concepts in house and apartment designs, moving towards a one-stop zero-waste direction. From eco-friendly residential design to the selection of green materials, Supalai collaborates with partners focused on sustainable production processes, develops innovative building technologies, and implements effective waste management, aiming to elevate the standards of green housing and drive society towards sustainability.

In recent years, Supalai has been committed to innovation with business partners, leading the company towards sustainable development. Through research and development, they have launched high-quality innovative products and gradually expanded their influence by applying these innovations to Supalai projects.

Mr. Chaijak Wattanu, Senior Director of Product Creation and Development at Supalai, highlighted that environmental protection has become a global hot topic, with customers increasingly inclined towards living environments that are close to nature and focused on health. Supalai is dedicated to developing green housing innovations by integrating natural elements into their designs, creating an eco-friendly home model with sustainable design.

To achieve this, Supalai has partnered with four green alliance brands—Wilsonart, SC GRAND, SONITE, and MORE—to maximize resource utilization efficiency. By using recycled processes, substituting unused materials with biodegradable ones, they have developed new eco-friendly products that are both high quality and aesthetically pleasing.

For instance, the surface coverings for built-in furniture are made from laminated boards sourced from commercial plantation forests, kitchen countertops are made from a mix of eggshells and synthetic stone, and fabrics for curtains and furniture are made from fabric waste, yarn, and coffee grounds. These eco-friendly products have been applied to Supalai's model homes nationwide, playing a key role in promoting the transition to sustainable living.

Mr. Adisak Thiapairat, President of Wilson Art (Thailand) Co., Ltd., mentioned that Wilson Art is a leading company in producing laminate boards that meet residential décor design needs. Their products, characterized by natural materials, exquisite designs, durability, and eco-friendliness, are certified to international quality standards, providing customers with peace of mind.

Mr. Jiraroj Pajanawarapan, General Manager of Sangcharoen Grand Co., Ltd., revealed that SC GRAND is committed to reducing environmental impact. In collaboration with Supalai, they process discarded cloth and unused yarn fragments into curtains and furniture interiors used in Supalai projects. This not only reduces waste but also saves resources and energy. The recycled fabrics are durable and aesthetically pleasing, allowing customers to choose from different types, structures, and designs according to their needs.

Sangcharoen Grand Co., Ltd. informs customers through life cycle assessment (LCA) that the use of recycled fabrics reduces environmental impact by nearly 100%, further enhancing customer confidence in eco-friendly products.

Mr. Jetanat Supapipat emphasized that the company believes waste is a valuable resource. In partnership with Supalai, they are committed to the large-scale use of renewable materials. They develop materials from industrial waste such as coffee pulp, wood chips, plastic bottle caps, and aluminum foil cartons, designing eco-friendly furniture and products to reduce and replace the use of new raw materials.

Ms. Anoma, Operations Manager of Sonite Innovative Company, disclosed that SONITE is dedicated to developing eco-friendly products using materials such as rice husks, eggshells, coconut fibers, and hard-to-decompose plastics, producing items with modern practical designs. Their production process is environmentally responsible, reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Their latest product, “E-Marble,” combines eggshells with synthetic stone, resulting in a robust, luxurious material with a low carbon footprint of 77.5 kg CO2 equivalent. Supalai has chosen to use “E-Marble” for decorating kitchen countertops in their model homes, ensuring customer safety while inhibiting bacterial growth.

Supalai is committed to promoting sustainability and environmental protection, minimizing greenhouse gas emissions in the development of eco-friendly housing projects, and continuously advancing towards the goal of zero waste. Supalai hopes to enhance public understanding of eco-friendly lifestyles through these efforts, ultimately achieving a sustainable and high-quality way of life.
